A certified test report by an UKAS accredited testing agency shall be provided indicating that the system has been tested in accordance with the CWCT Standard Test Methods for Building Envelopes – December 2005 and to the following minimum performance criteria:
Air Permeability
Should not exceed 1.5M³/H per M² of fixed area at a peak test pressure of 600 Pa when tested in accordance with BS EN 12152: 2202
Water Penetration
There shall be no water ingress when tested in accordance with BS EN 12154: 1999 at a peak test pressure of 600 Pa.
Wind Resistance
For serviceability deflection should not exceed 1/175 of span when subjected to negative and positive loading in accordance with the specified design wind pressure. For safety residual deformation shall not exceed 3mm when subjected to negative and positive loading of 150% of the specified design wind pressure.
Impact testing
A soft body impactor in accordance with BS EN 12600: 2002 is dropped from varying heights until the stone panel breaks. On breakage the stone panel must not be dislodged from the stone support system.
Thermal Transmittance
Meets the requirements of part L2 of the Building Regulations 0.35W/m²/K w hen calculated in accordance with BS EN ISO 10077-2 : 2003 (Improved values available)
